Still waiting...

Yup, we're still patiently waiting the arrival of our little snuggle bug!  He must be so cozy in there... I have been showing signs of early labor for about a week, and seemed that things picked up yesterday, but still no little man.  I am currently 41 weeks and 4 days, I am dilated to 3 cm and 100% effaced, he's just not ready.  We went in for a post date sono last Wednesday and everything looked great.  It was amazing to see how much his little face had changed since we last saw him at 20 weeks.  You could actually see his little cheeks and lips had plumped up and his hands were so defined.  The sono tech also confirmed that he still has long legs, just like mommy and daddy :)  As for now the plan is to go back to the midwife tomorrow just to check in.  By Thursday if he hasn't arrived we will go in for a consult with an OB that Kathleen works with and plan for a hospital induction that day or Friday.
We are trying so hard to be patient, and we know that he is just taking his sweet time getting nice and healthy in there, but we are SOO ready to meet him!  I will keep everyone updated.  Thank you for all your thoughts and prayers.

So I've been slacking on the blog the past few weeks... here are some pictures of the ever growing belly... He should be here any day now :)

Pregnancy Highlights:

How far along? 39 weeks, 2 days

Size of baby: at my appointment last Wednesday, Kathleen thought he was just under 8lbs... big boy!

Gender: all boy

Movement: all the time!! I keep wondering if they slow down before labor, lol

Sleep: just trying to make it through the night.  Usually I'm up 4-5 times a night to go potty or roll over

What I miss: easy walks up the stairs, feeling fully rested

Cravings: ice water (never ending craving), sweets

Symptoms: sore back, swollen feet

Best moment this week: going to see my midwife and knowing how close we are to meeting our little man!! Can't believe how fast the past 9 months have gone by, looking back

I will try to keep this updated as we anxiously await the arrival of our little blessing!!
