8 months old

Another month has flown by! 

You're EIGHT months old!

You are still wearing 6-9 month clothing and size 3 diapers.

By our scale at home you weigh 18.8 lbs and you're height, well that depends how much you squirm when we try to measure you :) but about 29 inches is the best we can see.

You have quite the personality, almost always happy and you love making silly faces.

You have started crawling on your hands and knees but you still arm crawl about 50% of the time.

You can pull up on nearly everything. We have to make sure the coffee table is free of anything that is not "Luke friendly" as you love to swing your arms side to side and fling things off the table.

You play independently so well.  I love watching you from across the room as you interact with your toys.  I wish I could see everything that was going on in your mind as you squeal and throw your arms in the air! 

You are pretty much eating everything now, except the foods that are off limits till after 1 (milk, eggs, etc).  You snack on Cheerios throughout the day, its tough keeping your tummy full!

You have SEVEN teeth!!! 4 on top, 3 on bottom

You are so smart! You have figured out how to open cabinets and I am most impressed at you figuring out how the light sensitive night light works - you will put your hand in front of it and watch the light turn off and on.

You LOVE your daddy! Every time you hear a noise by the door you stop what you're doing to wait for him to come in and then you get the biggest smile on your face!  Just the other day after dad left you crawled over to the door and just sat there staring at the closed door - saddest but sweetest thing!

We have been keeping busy going to playdates, visiting Danielle (and the precious friends growing in her belly), playing with dad on his days off, and swimming and Grandmo and Grandpa's house.  You are such a sweet boy, and bring so much happiness to each and every day!  Love you buddy!
